Know Your Official reproduces information from public government filings and links to the original documents. It is not the official repository for any filing, and figures here are provided for reference. Where this site and an official filing differ, the official filing controls.

Filings can be amended

Candidates and officeholders may amend a filing after it is submitted. Each figure here carries the as-of date of the filing it was read from; a later amendment may supersede it. Always verify against the current version at the source link before relying on a number.

FEC contributor information

Under 52 U.S.C. § 30111(a)(4) and 11 C.F.R. § 104.15, campaign-finance reports are made available for public inspection only. Information about individual contributors copied from FEC reports may not be sold or used for soliciting contributions or for any commercial purpose. This site displays aggregate figures only.

Financial disclosure reports — Ethics in Government Act

Personal financial disclosure reports are published under the Ethics in Government Act of 1978, as amended (5 U.S.C. app. § 105). That Act prohibits obtaining or using these reports for any unlawful purpose, for any commercial purpose other than by news and communications media for dissemination to the general public, for determining or establishing the credit rating of any individual, or for use, directly or indirectly, in soliciting money for any political, charitable, or other purpose. Know Your Official reproduces these reports solely for public information, and users are bound by the same restrictions.

Florida public records

Florida campaign-finance and candidate data come from the Florida Division of Elections. As noted by the Division, that information is not the official record of the Division; the official records reside with the Florida Secretary of State.
